Folklore Galore

Winter vacation is coming up, and now’s as good a time as ever to become (re)inspired. For some of you a few days at the beach will do, while for others some time on the slopes does the trick; but for you folklore fanatics I’ve got just the place! Here’s an article I found in the NY Times a while back.

If you want to get away from it all and still find diversions galore, I’ve got just the spot for you. It’s a country-music capital, the home of a world-famous artist, the setting of a beloved novel, the location of one of the most unusual colleges in America, a trout fishing capital and home to three renowned fishing lakes. And it’s all wrapped up in one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world – the Ozark Mountains around Branson, Mo.
